reading tsukasa as a cis female is p dense considering that kazunori ito (main .hack R1 writer) was also the screenwriter for ghost in the shell, which is also a cyberpunk narrative that heavily deals with an AFAB person's relationship with and rejection of their assigned gender
So in me and my girlfriend's running narrative for our MHA oc's, my boy Chiji is having to return to hero work (against his wishes lol), so I wanted to draw his updated costume and I think he looks so sick ♡

jean is still the best character in aot thank you very much. we love a good narrative foil
Princess Tutu has a metanarrative about identity. Kirakira Precure is about community and food. Lucky Star takes a deep dive into otaku culture. Eizouken is all about the trials and tribulations that come from desiring to pursue animation. They all have amazing female characters!
The team debrief logs helping push the narrative of the story >
One of my favorite tropes.
@Kayas_Kosmos I'm Shepherd! A genderfluid Malaysian autist who really likes OCs :]
I strive to make my illustrations have narrative/emotional elements, and I hope I can make comics as an okay full time job!!!
20. Tell Me Why
Def in my top 3 favorite games played this year. Best trans rep I've ever seen in any media. Great narrative about grief, social issues, and mental health. Interesting and realistic characters. Story dragged at some parts with average gameplay.
Rating: 8.5/10
As storytellers if we don’t feel we have the agency to put forth these powerful stories that disrupt the problematic narratives that permeate our dominant culture, we can be doing a disservice to ourselves, the audience we aim to move and the communities we aim to serve.
Cursed to see the strings of fates of all except her own.
This commission was really fun to do it's rare I get a narrative I can play with🥺💕
@IndiiCreates Thank you 💜
I’m proud of having more ambition in my art than in years previous
My goals for the next year are to improve my work and incorporate narrative more
And speaking of Dishonored, I ended up using that boost to retool an older character in a new direction I finally enjoy!
Eliza - previously Rosa - is one of those characters made only to serve a narrative purpose, but then they grow on you. Valid to mistake her for Emily Kaldwin
@sygnin This is Lorne, a witch with broken magic 🖤 this upcoming year I really want to work on developing his story into a full narrative
#2020artsummary very proud of my work this year ! Completely committed to the chaos and the silly! Experimented with different printing and more narrative stuff!! Ready to grow more like a big beanstalk next year 😎
My illustrations often include figures. I like to think that a human element helps viewers identify with the narrative and content more easily, no matter what the message is.
@CalicoBggs Me too, I want to see the crazy narratives and situations that can come out of this
I went specific and chose snippets from the 4 comics I did this year. 🙈
I got a LOT better at them this year, (plus obvious art improvement) which I'm proud of!! bc I really enjoy being able to mix my narrative and illustrative work.
wow these all involve qrow. embarrassing. https://t.co/p8jYvU0VoI
