Just got struck with the realization that this is effectively a redraw of a very similar artwork I made earlier this year in January. So yeah, not sure if it's a fair comparison since they're drastically different styles, but it's cool to see my progress this year.

@FoursideKM i think small mario is backed by marios older sprites having those similar proportions. and also him dying when hes small, theres no secondary smaller form

So i was kinda checking SMT designs randomly (have reasons, not important) when I got reminded of their Zeus.

Admittedly when I first saw it (when I think friend was streaming SMT V) my first reaction was "What the hell is this".

Made a character for Fantasy Role Play on Minecraft! Haven't used him too much yet but he's a Velnari (similar to a tiefling) and he's a traveling merchant who does tarot readings with an interest in dark magic

@ElectriZack @FMAPerfectShots I've done a similar pose before.

If you really think about it, Sonic Lost World is more similar to the new Donkey Kong Country games rather than Mario.

Think about it, cartoony art style, difficulty spike, run button, THE RAIL GRINDING LEVELS, and spin dash is literally just the roll.

My 2022 art summary!
Pretty proud of my work this year. I made new characters I love, dense illustrations, and some bugs and critters. Just hope 2023 will be similar. :3

Concept doodle of Roleswap AU Noir/White! He has similar backstory as in main lore (and the Melodis family still kinda sucks even with Detective!DM being nice), but he takes a different approach on things here. (more below)
