okay i forced myself to make a brush set of 7 brushes and an eraser, and im only going to use those brushes for at least a few weeks. this was done so hopefully i can nail down some sort of consistency :| anyway, heres my first art done with it

One of my WIP assignments, I have to copy a pre-existing vector illustration.
I never understood how to nail this sort of faded style of shading common from this era, so copying it has been really helpful.
