It's way too complicated with way too many random bullshit accessories

I think something like classic proportions with modern esthetics would be a nice compromise and personally I think it looks the best

So, It was a change in plans when I was going for Raven(TT). I decided to draw Pearl from Splatoon, inspiration of my favorite animator, Never drew out of proportion or something like this, so gave it a try, I guess 😅

yes it was. When they did a whole new art style. You can also see those reboot movies went back to the core design as a start, then split the difference between old and new, then just took on a whole new set of proportions in 2019 as well as his hair changing shape.
