The face is obviously traced then why tf didn't I do the same for the rest of the body...

mixed messaged from gragnor.... rigged and mostly weightpainted-- the auto weights were actually pretty serviceable even with truly insane poses. i might make his smith's flap and helm tuft physics? based? if i can? honestly unsure how it works but we'll find out

Made a quick robot 3D Concept test today using and auto-rigged it in Maya. Used put some animations on it, and used to put some finishing touches. Can't believed it worked out! Took 2 hrs in total~

Took the trooper sculpt and tried some new workflows. High Poly/Low Poly/UVs completely with Houdini and SubstancePainter then quickly rigged with mixamo auto rigger and rendered in marmoset toolbag.

rigged and weight painted snuppy and gave him a dynamic outline (ignore the little lines around the eyes, that's just part of the wirefame since rendered view is super crusty). far from perfect and only good for posing, not animating-- still a fun challenge!!

Doing the Global Game Jam this weekend! For the first few hours I got some low poly animals modeled (though they'll need some more detail added to match the beaver protagonist done by another artist) and got their beaver rigged and weighted
