my four most recent draws look really nice together imo.... even w/ the stock photo bgs for three of them
I did a simple background akin to the BGs of the previous versions, but I did want to do something else with it. TTwTT Maybe next year I'll think of something better to do with the BG! This is the fourth redraw of this piece. :0 I'll post all four in a minute!

More oldies with story. When I had issues w composing backgrounds I forced myself to do specific 'scenery' like artworks strictly w animal or anthro figures like a 'fake screenshot' to get through my weakness and it worked wonderfully! All bgs are hand painted and helped me a lot

some random BGs and all the outfits in the game..95% of which were in the movie...yeah I didn't realize there were this many either until I had to make walk cycles for every single one of them in every direction

i still don't draw bgs, but i got better at drawing my favorite anime characters so it's been a good year!

Base shading done... I'll have to still tweak it (looks at the first part.....) and add highlights + details, but other than that, I'm ready to start working on BGs... not before I have a break, though. Whewww.
@PeachBalie In case you wanted to give your audience a little merch test. Graphic design is not quite on par with my abilities. Thankfully I got a taste of all those disciplines at school lol. I would say this will look best on red/orange/yellow BGs on the darker side.
