Before I had a tablet, I would scan pencil drawings of my Sonic FCs and use the polygonal lasso in PS to fill in the outlines. Simple times :)

@Garlik_Bakery im glad you noticed. for those that have a hard time seeing it i outlined the shape to make it more obvious.

First I start drawing the tear outlines with a dark color

Then I lower the opacity of the layer until it looks good (usually around 15%)

Then I start adding strong highlights in a new layer

Finally I add some slight shadows with a multiply layer

Improved the Inabakumori model a lot from the last time I posted about it. Adjusted the face expression, cleaned hair mesh, and adjusted proportions a bit. Also edited the outline stencil so that the outline only overlays the outer rim of the model.

And then highlights and outline bolding as well as gloweys for Cresselia, Shaymin, and Heatran
