Need some advice from moots. I am NOT loving the flat colors on the first img. When reading a webtoon, do you prefer full color, or are the attached images okay to read too? (adding another colored panel that I do like😭)

Its a painting process I'm learning, its this brush set called "Kraft Tones" by True Grit Texture Supply. Each layer is its own color, but layered together with multiply effect, makes the full range. I did add a paper texture on top to bring it all together.

Maybe instead of white use a pastel version or a color from your artwork ?
Also what I personnally like to do when I have a white background is to outline the drawing with a color, generally opposite color of the main color I used
