是水 - Be Water - 🌊🌊

"Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless — like water...Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.” - Bruce Lee

After watching "Be Water" last night (watch!), I wanted to create a piece which visually represented his wisdom & philosophy.

Any body of fresh water. In Greek mythology, the Naiads are a type of female spirit, or nymph, presiding over fountains, wells, springs, streams, brooks and other bodies of fresh water.

i had this concept of having a giant "statue" in the depths of blue void. water comes out of it somehow, even if its already underwater. everyone knows about it but.. no one seems to find it.

It's not even derailing tbh since this has gone from Catra's teleportation issues to motion sickness to seasickness to dislike of water. And I agree with all of that except am not sure about the seasickness ;) It's all fine, Catra is a versatile topic.

I had a party today, and now my head aches a bit, my face is sunburnt, and my right ear is clogged with pool water. Here’s an arachnid guy and a Gooey alien. I gave Venom a slight purple tint, because I wanted to. Next in line is Carnage. I’ll put a poll below for who comes after

Koyama-Ike pond had been the sea in ancient times, and the sands blown away from Tottori sand dunes made this area a pond.
For that reason, the pond water is brackish water.
This pond is the largest acreage as a pond in Japan.

I know that poll isnt finished yet, but I was in a bit of a mood.

Side note, I need to use overlays more, I just dunno where else to use them other than water.

Bad news. Used up all the hot water. Also all the shampoo and conditioner. And soap.

Good news, I 'forgot' to bring in my change of clothes :3

Art by who was great to work with! Thank youuuu
