Creating cover art is an exercise in world-building; a visual vehicle to invite potential listeners into your world — and get them to stick around and explore it.

Here are some of my favorite covers from this week. Reply with yours and tag the artist!

Happy Friday all! After a nice morning exercise and a walk through a thunderstorm, I'm clean, fed, and couldn't be more excited to keep drawing. Today won't be as long a stream, but come join me as I plug away on sketches and assets for the project I'm on!

Agnes was originally based on old character design exercise done by Noah back in 2020! During early development, we often referred to her as 'Velma' (for obvious reasons). Her eventual name Agnes was inspired by the French filmmaker, Agnes Varda.

Connect the dots:
😱 Danish🇩🇰 kids cycle less far (-25%), less often (-32%) in last 10 years
🚙 Proportion of kids cycling to school dropped 30%. Car journeys doubled/tripled
🤸‍♀️ Only 26% gets enough physical exercise
⛑ Helmets became the norm

What if they weren't strangely animal looking creatures??

Had alot of fun making these designs! I rarely draw humans so this was a good exercise!

We are running a game of The Quiet Year as a team building exercise with some of our designers and writers today (our artist)
How did we get to a place with human faced, 12ft tall, killer cats?
