Here is a shot of the swing effects in action. I have been having trouble with the gold arcs bleeding over Lou's swing smears since he attacks so damn fast and trimmed them down, and am thinking of the dust cloud helping a player see where their attacks are effective.

today in Aura analyzes art: I picked up Q Hayashida’s Mud and Sludge and man I need to learn how to mimic some of these effects because they are gorgeous. Really beautiful art book.
