Day 7 of - Mossy log / Vietnamese mossy frog (Theloderma corticale)

These frogs get their name from their moss-like palette and texture. They are found in northern Vietnam and southern China. When frightened, they can curl up into a ball and play dead.

here's a close up if you wna look at the brush textures, it's insane how it emulates actual paint with the option to wet, dry and even add actual water and control how much it spreads

figuring out more kalamitcreatures for fun and uhh i think my eyes can't take more of trying to decide colors for this one....

the fish fin -like membranes can be stylized similiarly to hair, fur, quills or fins bcs they can vary a lot in texture and shape etc.
