As soon as the sun comes out like this & day flying like this can be seen out and about enjoying the flowers the orange tip likes the honesty flowers & the moth can be seen high up in the clouds of blackthorn blossom

South facing hedges throw out new suckers of growth these would get mown out on most farms but this is where the likes to lay her eggs so we manage our hedges specially making sure there’s plenty of new growth for egg laying

An Owl pellet Maybe not a thing of obvious beauty but fascinating none the less owls swallow their prey whole regurgitating the indigestible parts such as fur bones teeth and feathers later.
