The Mewstone in Devon to Rame Head in Cornwall, after a storm the seaweed and treasures are piled high, I lose myself for hours on the beach, prodding the seaweed with a stick, the dog finding delicious smelly things and often I do indeed find treasure😀

In Zennor, Cornwall, a mermaid would attend St Senara's Church to sing with the choir, although the villagers were unaware of her aquatic identity then. The "Mermaid Chair" where she sat can still be seen today. She soon caught the ear of the churchwarden's son
