I finally watched Psych: The Movie without those annoying ADs. I enjoyed it. The writing can get awkward sometimes, but it has the charmness from the original TV show we all know and love. I'm curious to see the next two films.

Here's my pitch for Toei Animation to celebrate Precure's 20th anniversary.
Make a movie of Futari wa. Not a crossover. A full-blown FILM. Something that has the same amount of effort like the newer One Piece and Dragon Ball films.

Well, the important thing is that he actually did try something new. That's what most very creative filmmakers do. Think outside the box and try new things in their films. It's how we get movies like Slither and Everything Everywhere All at Once. He is going to give us that.

Does anyone remember the time in the 1990s when BBC 2 would show old thrillers and noir films on a Saturday afternoon? I wold often watch them usually while nursing a hangover. I discovered so many great films I would have otherwise missed, including lots of Sam Fuller films.

When it comes to their reputation, it's a mix. Fans have their own opinions like Sonic Boom is the worst or just mid, same goes for Andrew's Spider-Man's films. But I can tell, that there are some fans who love and accept them. I hope Boom! Sonic has his redemption soon 💙 (5/?)

I watched Nausicäa tonight. After seeing it again, I’m even more convinced that Cameron made a deliberate reference to the film. The themes of environmentalism and living in unity with the Earth are strongly present in both films. will return. https://t.co/tyroC3cdUj

Erika and the red-eye effect
When we design Erika we got a lot of inspiration from old photos and films.
Therefore we deicide to give Erika red-eye effect for the nostalgia look, it also become a visual indicator to show her driven into madness during the war.

Watched Mad Monkey Kung Fu (1979) absolute classic Shaw Bros joint here that sits among the Mount Rushmore of Monkey style films. Directed by and starring Lau Kar-Leung & the insanely acrobatic Hsiao Ho plus Lo Lieh & Kara Wai it's the classic Kung fu formula done to perfection👍

When Disney bought Fox, they basically abandoned the final X-men projects. Dark Phoenix & New Mutants, about $280 million worth of films.

Warner is being even bolder with their latest move, abandoning about $600 million+ of movies (Flash, Aquaman 2, Shazam 2, Blue Beetle)

>"Avatar" sequel debuts at No. 3 only in Japan

Oh, I knew it. Well, Japan has a strong animation industry. I think it's basically a good thing to have strong content from it's own country, and it's not we're rejecting foreign films. Top Gun is a hit.

Episode 2 of has premiered! You can watch "A Mysterious Map" now on YouTube and the Angel Studios app. Here are some rough boards I did last year for the map discovery scene. Heavily inspired by Spielberg films.

There were quite a few scenes I wanted to reference in Licence To Kill, which took on a decisively darker tone than the previous James Bond films. The epic tanker chase at the end, any scene with Wayne Newton in it... But it just had to be this one for me. ^^.
