@padregascoigne Yep! There's concept art for the first game of her showing a relative from Japan around Raccoon City (the bottom right) and a Capcom press release from 1995 said her mother was Japanese and her father was French.
This show has everything I hate in it. Singing anime girls. A giraffe. French. Yet, in spite of all those terrifying things, I still enjoyed it, which is truly the highest praise anybody has ever offered the series. A slightly underdeveloped (but enjoyable) cast holds it back...
