She is, as the young'uns might say: thicc. But that term is probably outdated by now.
Maiasaura peeblesorum lady who got a facelift (and some big honkers on the face). I also tried to go for mitten hands because... hadrosaurs.
ALRIGHT. I did a simple batch of dino adopts, specifically hadrosaurs cause I just never see them around. PAYPAL ONLY
DM me here or on Toyhouse (it'll be in the comments) first in, first served.
WIP (early stages) I will be trying to finish this commissioned illustration today 😅 This is a detail of a larger piece. It is refreshing to work on hadrosaurs for a change #paleoart #dinosaurs
New hadrosaur Yamatosaurus izanagii from Japan (Kobayashi et al 2021 https://t.co/9PsD3vGvnM). Hadrosaurs remarkably diverse and abundant, but one thing Yamatosaurus tells us is that group likely originated in Eurasia and used ancient Beringia to move into western No Am.
#FossilFriday #Alaskadinosaurs The most common hadrosaur from Arctic, Edmontosaurus from North Slope Alaska. Closely related Kamuysaurus from Hokkaido (Kobayashi et al 2019). These dinos support land bridge model btwn Asia and No Am. More on Japanese hadrosaurs and biogeog soon!
@KingRexy328 Ask and you shall recieve! My take on Rodan is a scansoriopterygid descended from the likes of Yi qi, whose head crests are extensions of the nasal cavity like crested hadrosaurs which gives her a sonic scream attack. And yes, she's a girl due to the whole "mated pair" deal!
Reconstructing the missing bones in Amurosaurus riabinini. I'm using the known maxillae and quadrate bones to fit in the missing pterygoid bones and using other lambeosaurine hadrosaurs as reference to fill in the gaps.
cleaned up my fishsona and made a whole ref for em!! Their name is Creek
they ended up taking an anatomical note from hadrosaurs by accident oops
Results from the #paleostream!

#FossilFriday A new study on one individual of Parasaurolophus finds that it must have suffered some serious (yet healing) injuries to the ribs, hip, and face. The paper has some great discussion about reconstructing the necks of hadrosaurs [🎨: Marco Auditore, Marzio Mereggia]
Somehow I went from “what if I just drew hadrosaurs as the Mean Girls” to this..
@lachlanowers1 @hren_s_molokom It would be so cool if the Hadrosaurs males had a mallard inspired design while the females had a split variation between zebra and female mallard.
Reposting my edmontosaurus sona, cus fuck it lmao
If you can draw hadrosaurs- we should do an art trade cus I want more art of her haha
Edmontosaurus was part of a group of dinosaurs called the Hadrosaurs. One species, E. regalis, sported a fleshy “crest”! We have many well-preserved specimens of this charming dino, even possibly preserving their patterning!
