One of my favorite things about my story (Star Crossed) is that I incorporated many kinds of cultures into it. The characters do a lot of traveling, so there are both real AND mythical influences. Here’s some South Asian references I used then~😁

When I officially became a teenager, I started to get back into Ren & Stimpy, because as an artist who has always been into retro-looking cartoons, the style really grew into me. Now, it became one of my art influences. I even tend to draw them from time to time, mostly Stimpy.

Yeah just look at gundam, macross, space battleship yamato or Legend of the Galactic Heroes. The ship designs of the latter two had some heavy WW2 influences.
