Shayera and Carter look to be part of the new JSA. Kendra has a shot at making the new JLA roster. I'd love a new Hawk book as I absolutely loved 's masterful work on Hawkman. The story and the straightening out of the Hawks' past leaves such potential!

You know who I think would be real fun artist for a Plastic Man gig? Doug Mahnke.

He’s a stellar artist who‘s unique visual style can range from the hilarious to wicked to colorful to gritty! He’s a co-creator of The Mask, and worked on Plas a lot on JLA, he’d be perfect!

Except that’s not what happened AT ALL. In JLA Id, which the OP was actually thinking about, Plastic Man and Eel O’Brian did get split up, as did the rest of the JLA. But the point of the story was that their identities weren’t so clear cut. Made obvious WITH Plas 3/7

“But Alex Ross, Plastic Man and Captain Marvel were never part of that Justice League Of America era? In fact, was Captain Marvel ever PART of the JLA? And where’s Firestorm?”

Including the fact that by then, Plastic Man actually had a recent comic run. In ‘95 Plas’ last book was from 1988, and wasn’t* collected, while in 2008 he had Kyle Baker’s ultra-satiric 20 issue series that had at least two trade collections, and a substantial run in the JLA
