The worldbuilder in me can't help but contextualize 'em (even as I edit most into legit swords or maces). I imagine the intent is a constable's weapon, most of the time its the bonk, but the blade's there for trouble. IRL impractical, but look who's holding them.

Guns have existed for a very long time. These medieval handgonnes (ishibiya) could also double as overgrown steel clubs. You could also probably add: spikes, spear tips, and/or axe blades for variety. Pistol-axes, knives, maces, and swords also existed.

I understand that back in 2004, Class silhouette was important. As a Horde only, Shamans were meant to wield more 'rougher' weapons like axes/maces
