if we are to assume alice is the personification of the greek goddess eris (or based on her with the information provided in the byakuyakoku collection), certain traits she has shown do match her (eris’) character in mythos.

Suzie Plakson was introduced as K'Ehleyr in and she was a fantastic addition to the TNG mythos. I wish we got more of her character. She was such a fantastic foil for - and compliment to Worf

This shit is on my mind and had to channel it so here's a sketch from a moment from the monument mythos. I never thought I would look up reference pics of an actual statue because i watched a ton of goofy vids on youtube. I really enjoy them though.

Worse part is, I feel like I’m culturally appropriating. I never thought of it that way, I always wanted A character on my team from an actual mythology, like Thor or Hercules. There was a comic called Xin from years ago that made me a fan of the mythos.

Starting a new series of Batman designs, but this time going at it as an idea of how I would do my own take on the Bat universe and mythos. For Bruce I'm using purple hues even in the grays and blacks and you'll notice familiar elements of future partners costumes...

Our next is the Kumiho, originated from Korean folktales and legends! She shares many similarities with the Japanese Kitsune, as well with the Huli Jing, from the Chinese mythos.

Inktober Day 02: Mythos. A really messy Pallas Athena artwork, but I like it that way. Sometimes, I pick up my tablet pen and just let my mind wander without thinking of anything but express what I feel at the moment :)

Where to begin, in this...
At first, wanted to make a villain yet later manage to center it around the mythos.
Put in around 3-5 hrs, not going to lie if I animate this troop, may be a be a good series.

Why are there giant talking eagles? Because they're a syncretized element from another mythos.

Why don't the eagles simply fly the ring to Mount Doom? BECAUSE THEY'RE A SYNCRETIZED ELEMENT FROM ANOTHER MYTHOS.

Absolutely. Despite his massive size, Cthulhu is weak compared to the other gods of the Lovecraftian mythos. Humanity's collective shadow (Nyarlathotep) is probably gonna be near or above Omni-King (Zeno) status. 😏

In the modern day, Goddess Millia is portrayed as a tomboyish figure, dressed in steampunk attire. However, for the first few years after her creation, the lightning deity looked more like she'd belong in a Greek mythos. It's amazing how a few millennia changes a person, huh?

She's also married to multiple Gods compared to others Goddesses of the Egyptian Mythos. She's married to Bes, a God who protects pregnant women, Sobek, the God of fertility and of the Nile and Set, the God of Chaos. Sobek seems to be her favorite though.

Speaking of Furman, his Regeneration One title is the legit end to the entire Transformers mythos. Conclusive, powerful, and hopeful, it helps to redeem the Transformers as a race and that even with a million year war, new life can still come from it.

While they're called the "Ruins of Hope" in English, in the Japanese Version, Tapu Fini's lair is called "彼岸の遺跡" or as Bulbapedia calls it, "Ruins of the Other Side", apparently directly referencing https://t.co/SxutPkOjzz which is similar to the River Styx in Greek mythos.

Oh! And she's descended from this creature, which is the creature that created the world of Ennioch for in-universe creation mythos. I call it Father! (Ennioch as a dormant world was the Mother)

Just one of the multitude of fantastic artwork from of for the 5e Cthulhu Mythos. There is so much love put into this. It’s one of my favourite core books, up there with AD&D Unearthed Arcana.
