Marvel Mystery Comics (1939) features Namor and Jim on the cover. They spend the whole issue tearing through New York fighting to get the upper hand, and Jim burns off Namor's wings. It doesn't stop him though he just highjacks a plane. lmao

They're divorced but still my favorite relationship, they've got POETIC pages, idc about Arthur and Mera, Teddy and Billy are great but can be annoying here and there, Namor's finally gonna get Susan's invisible draws one of these days- https://t.co/3AfeZjZ6zw

Namor's earring needs to make a come back

Captain Leonard McKenzie aka Princess Fen's husband aka Namor's dad. He was born in Boston Massachusetts. Look he had brown eyes but ofc comics made them blue at times. He was a young sea captain who lead the Oracle in a rescue/recovery/exploration mission after the Endurance +

This is gorgeous.

Also, it makes sense that Namor's ego and bizarre sense of love would be in conflict with Doom's agenda.

The way my baby Sobunar could take Namor's entire King of the Seas thing, do it better and actually be likeable. Sol is going to war and he's gonna snap. I just know it😫

...past or risk putting Warlock in any graver danger.

Even in a moment of earned rage as Capt. America throws Namor's participation in the fight against the Nazi regime during WWII in Erik's face, Erik withholds from decimating the Avengers, only fighting enough to keep alive.

I actually love Namor's laugh alot because he doesn't do it often but when he does it's a huge belting laugh and usually in situations he finds funny meanwhile others aren't quite amused

Cataloging Namor's early outfits and when I get to something like this, even though its a remastered comic, they still kept the messed up colors from the og panels. Namor wore a blue shirt with long sleeves just before the red with no sleeves and then it went blue again.

So if joining the does this mean we finally get the movie Stan & Jack promised us all those years ago...?

Nita, Namor's cousin, speaks about how similar Atlantean culture is to Asian culture. New Warriors (1990)

Marvel bedazzled Namor's codpiece...I shit you not.

The abomination behind him is Nightcrawler...I shit you not.

Listen if someone told me like a two months ago I would genuinely care about Attuma and Namor's budding friendship, or that I would care about Attuma at all, I would have thought them insane. Seriously I am invested now.

It always turns out to be Nazis. Lol. Namor's Flying Bantam was def one of my fave stories of that era

Y'all don't know how annoyed I am at Defenders of the Deep just being used as a team the Avengers fight against. Like where's their comic series? where is the Namor and Tiger Shark DRAMA, the man killed Namor's father ffs

"All Humans are Namor's foes! But you the once mighty Iron Man have been the greatest offender by far!"

People who call Namor's ankle wings lame, just know that Namor is the first flying superhero because of those ankle wings. That superhero trope came from him and every single super character that flies is because Namor did it First. 😌

I would never say Namor has more validity than other actual PoC characters, but I've always read his atlantean people as being non white, espically in early 1939/40 comics its repeatedly stated Namor's people are a kind of indigenous/tribal people

Defenders (1972) Black Panther stops a group of Wakandan men from selling Tech to Atlanteans who claimed to be acting under Namor's direct orders. Namor is aghast to find his military has loosely interpreted his orders to this magnitude as political tensions rise.
