I think what truly sucks about NelvanaThom just from what we have so far is when you see how fun and inventive 2.5D animation can look with the likes of Harmony allowing more experimental styles

and then you have Thomas which just looks and feels so bland from the keyart alone

In my opinion, I wouldn't believe that. Even though they were credited for the graphic, I believe they own an exclusive right to the picture.

Besides, I say that Nelvana made it. Here's some of their current show and see how similar the artstyle is to the Thomas picture.
