I recommend The Goon, it’s a long-running noir/pulp/comedy series but the new TPB’s are comprised of relatively self-contained stories so it’s a good starting point. It’s a pastiche of gangster, horror, comedy, and vintage influences that’s truly unique and has a lot of heart.
