This is Orville, a character from my K: BTS AU and a member of the Dracomatter Squad. He is a Pteromatter, a Dracomatter variant that is themed after pterosaurs. Orville is the group's aerial attack specialist. He is named after Orville Wright of the Wright Brothers.
I was very excited to try my hand at the age-old trope of mosasaurs snatching pterosaurs. Probably not gonna work out well for you Pteranodon buddy. Its okay, giant lizards are way cooler than bird-bats with man bodies. #sorrymarkwitton
Have spent a lot of this week working on a new Jurassic marine life mural (will be released soon), so here's #paleoart for #FossilFriday on the same theme: Jurassic ichthyosaur Ophthalmosaurus, plus bonus pterosaurs.
Both fossil specimens of Prejanopterus show a snout curved to the left. If this is not distortion of the fossil, Prejanopterus is surely one of the weirdest #pterosaurs. #fossils #science https://t.co/OJgmPKFOga
Did som ref sheets for my pterosaurs. Quincy needed a new one and Pyro just.... needed one.
Pyros og design was made by @Holo_Scales
Aussiedraco, the “Aussie dragon,” is one of only a few named Australian #pterosaurs. #fossils #science https://t.co/D1XEql9yxW
More #Pterosaurs. My slightly revised version of Eudimorphodon ranzii, a basal pterosaur from the Late Triassic, Zorzino Fm 🇮🇹 #paleoart
Don't be fooled by its name, Eopteranodon is one of the earliest known toothless #pterosaurs. #science #fossils https://t.co/rPFV7SNPpX
