Hațeg Island is still one of the most interesting places in Earth's history, inhabited by dwarf dinosaurs that were often meals for giant pterosaurs.

Behold, my own version of the terrible tug of war pterosaurs. Both of em were a blast to do, and I even added some fun facts.

are chondrichthyes, some are plesiosaurs and some are pterosaurs. Sharpteeth are the major background force in the Land Before Time that drive both the plot and the setting: a major aspect of any location in the series is whether there’s a possibility of running into sharpteeth

The Pteros families expand with the addition of Lagerpeton. Paleontologists think that animals like lagerpetids might be ancestors of pterosaurs.

Tropeognathus is now joined by the equally enormous Thanatosdrakon. These two giants are South Americas largest pterosaurs. #PterosaurTuesday #fossils #paleontology #Quetzalcoatlus #Pteranodon #dinosaurs

Here’s Dearc compared with #Quetzalcoatlus , which is of course the biggest of all pterosaurs.
Guys you'll never guess what. I drew more pterosaurs. The big three of course, Hatzegopteryx, Arambourgania and Quetzalcoatlus.
More pterosaurs. I am so obsessed with drawing pterosaurs now, it's my go-to if I'm bored and want to doodle something.
Top row: Harpactognathus - Cycnorhamphus - Caviramus
Bottom row: Hamipterus - Zhenyuanopterus
Is it #PortfolioDay ? Allo, I am a PhD student that studies pterosaurs for a living - and when not doing that - I draw pterosaurs for a living. It's a lot of pterosaurs.
For #FossilFriday, some #paleoart from 2016: the azhdarchid that would eventually become Cryodrakon is scavenged by a variety of dinosaurs and pterosaurs. I should do top-down views more often, they're fun to execute and interesting to look at.
For #FossilFriday, a thread on the new paper I published yesterday with @TetZoo and @gimpasaura, on the flight capabilities of hatchling pterosaurs. You may have seen this in the news already. Our PR #paleoart is below, & the full paper is at @SciReports: https://t.co/iHhgLuRVx0
Seriously guys, what do you think of my art that's not dino/pterosaurs. Any potential?
You know, we talk about variety in dinosaurs appearing in media, but rarely about variety in pterosaurs. Pteranodon and Pterodactyl are pretty much the Stegosaurus and Triceratops of the prehistoric flying reptiles at this point. We need some weird ones like the Dsungaripteridae.
Saurophthirus longipes was the largest flea ever discovered, growing to 2.5cm long. It possibly sucked the blood of pterosaurs.

I'm doing research into non-pterodactyloid pterosaurs. They are rather obscure, therefore I've decided to singlehandedly popularise them.

I hope you all enjoyed Friday's video! Quetzalcoatlus is one of my favourite pterosaurs.
