My issue isn't with how Horikoshi writes fights. A lot of mangaka do the same. Focus on the main points + payoff. My issue is with how Bones adds very little outside of the source material. Would be best if they added more body, within reason.

These last 2 volume covers have really been hitting for me, even over like half of the main series. 🔥 Something about the simplicity & implied motion in backgrounds. They feel more like Western comic book covers for me so that also plays a part. 👌🏽
