Just to show how dry soils are, here's a map showing the soil moisture status across the UK yesterday, and a time series of soil moisture from the COSMOS-UK Rothamsted site where after a wet winter soils have dried steadily to levels typical of July.

From Uzbekistan, these carrots have a unique shape, crispy & juicy with lots of natural sugar! It produced sweet roots in the hot summer months during our MO greenhouse trials, but it is equally tasty when grown in cool weather. Easy to grow in a range of soils & temperatures!
