I’ve often mused that the shrubbery in my local park seems a good spot for Epipactis. Well braving funny looks from my bemused fellow dog walkers I plunged into the bushes and found five Broad-leaved Helleborines! 🎉 There are a LOT more bushes to investigate! 👀#Wildflowerhour

Not great pics as just phone snaps & it was gloomy in the shade of the trees but I enjoyed a quiet moment watching this wasp pollinating Broad-leaved Helleborine. It had pollinia attached to its head & bashfully peeped at me from between the blooms!
