Okay, that was sort of fun. Playing around with colours and airbrushes and stuff. Gives it this look that I can't quite describe. I like it. I think. Well, is was just an experiment

You start off with a sketch, then you lineart it grey, and flat. Then you shade it as usual with airbrushes (use the select tool to mask stuff quickly)

@AlphaSheWolf90 often asks me why I don’t use Gaussian blur, and I always say “Just because it’s boring for me. I like watercolor with rich colors rather than airbrushes.” But finally, I understood what she said. You want to see this kind of my art, right? XD

I know there are many out there already. Not just to purchase, but to print. Yet, there is just something about starting to design your own.

Very rough outline of what I am thinking. Going to hollow out the back or side for a drawer(s) to hold repair parts for the airbrushes.

Did a quick test to try only airbrushes I guess

@RodgersShontae The basis of what I do, is mostly adding a darken color layer and that's on experimenting how to apply that shadow with brushes or airbrushes, etc. You can try adding shading on a pencil style (my favorite in traditional art). Lightning is shading but with white but less obvious.

Also I used to hate the idea of using airbrushes, but after this i've realised they can be quite effective (also why does this art give me lowkey chunie vibes?)

I was inspired by the Character Design Challenge for a “Fox Adventurer” and I was clearly still super fascinated with the firefox folklore so I did this in @procreate using only their Airbrushes!

@random_8tor I usually just use the studio pen on procreate! Sometimes the blending or airbrushes and maybe the newspaper or noise texture but that’s pretty much it

@RaineWithan_E I dunno if this will be helpful but I dont use lines when drawing my eyes, sometimes I change the shape of the little highlight thing to match something with the character. The tools I use most of the time when coloring them are simple airbrushes ( ´ ▽ ` )
