Margaret Frances "Peggy" Bacon (1895 – 1987) was a printmaker, illustrator, painter & writer.

Bacon was a very prolific artist. In 1919, at the age of 24, she wrote and illustrated her first book, The True Philosopher and Other Cat Tales.
