complimenting the art by the same time. the assets were drawn and planned during the storyboarding stage, and i gave a slight turbulent displace to make the video look more organic. the color palette was basically the same as the sprites thus the smooth blend.

That genuinely helps. I feel like i'm laying down separate tones more than I am blending. I gotta get used to it and actually learn how to blend. T___T How quickly do you typically start blending tones after you start laying one down? These are my first and most recent attempts
