Maybe it's just me, but i feel like the Vhs filter doesn't quite work as good for this kind of coloring, kinda messes with the values and the blending, is it just me?

I use a pencil texture pen for EVERYTHING btw, no blending, just very low opacity and color dropping a lot for shading. Pink is ur best friend, go batshit with the blush and sunset eyes or nothing good luck bestie <3

Done with Tombow water-based brush markers. It felt like this was a quicker piece, but I worked on it in small pieces over the course of a week, and most of it was spent blending, so it wasn't really that fast 😅

I agree with all the "you have rad shit" posts because they're 100% true, but something specific I see you do often is this dapply lightning/color blending, which is something I see a lot of artists at your skill level "iron out" and pivot to realism more. I love it a lot!!
