Day 24: I wish I could visit ’s Willow Cove (especially considering it’s almost Halloween) or ’s Esperance (who wouldn’t want to visit a magical Venice-like city)!

Adding one more illustrator I love to Day 23! I chanced upon Aishwarya 's work on Twitter one day and immediately commissioned her to create a toon profile picture of me & illustrations for my website which I soo LOVE! She's wonderfully talented!

Day 23! I followed 's work before I had a book deal and was SO excited to have her illustrate my debut novel! Here's some of her incredible work and I CANNOT wait to share the amazing chapter illustrations she's done for REA AND THE BLOOD OF THE NECTAR!

Day 13 Graphic novels intimidate me so it's a goal of mine to read more of them! Eager to see others recommendations. Here are some on my tbr

2 20

Graphic novels are our jam, but our fave ever is Gabby & Gator by . This is *that* book for us- the one that started our fangirling for (And the updated G&G releases in one week- we ordered multiple copies already!) Yay for Day 13 of 🐊

Day 12 of It has a title that suggests silliness, but this book by is so much more than that. It has a lovable protagonist, a delightful plot, and a good message.

Day 11 This is tough-we've always been a readaloud family (even though the kids are getting older)
But today I will say that these books are some of our favorites because my kids love hearing words, names & phrases that represent the different sides of who they are!

Day 8 -- My favorite genre of middle grade is contemporary stories that include a speculative element. Humor and a strong voice are other big draws for me.

Our favorite middle grade genre is an impossible task because it totally depends on our moods! But since we are always ready for a funny book, here’s a shout out to a few of our laugh-out-loud faves for Day 8 of The Real McCoys, Bernice Buttman, & Beatrice Zinker!

Okay so the Day 7 prompt was probably the hardest so far but I decided to go with a whole bunch of Mikes who have written great graphic novels: , , and .
