Sent the CADAVERS Graphic Novel to print this morning. A crushing responsibility has been lifted from my soul.

Means I can take a long deserved rest from creating comics - just chill for a bit.

Christian Wilhelm (1831–1892) was a german anatomist. He is known for his excellent lithographs of cross-sections of the and his pioneer work in biomechanics. He also pioneered the use of frozen cadavers for anatomical investigations.

Born Géricault painted this macabre image directly from life. A frequent visitor to morgues, he often brought home cadavers for his studies. The severed head in this work is one that Géricault is said to have kept in his house for a fortnight.

My new book is called CADAVERS: World Gone to Hell.

It's full of bad people like this guy - Ratburg. When you have name like Ratburg - you are not going to grow up to be a nice guy.

But I do get to work with nice people like Jonathan Scott - whose lovely art this is.
