Legend of Zelda Fanarts from 2019 Inktober,
haven't taken part in that thing last couple of years.

Feels good.

Color pencils and copics.

Today’s WIP experiments with the light pad. Original sketch. Transfer to Fluid 140lb cold press and inked with Indian ink + school nib. Transfer to Bee Paper 110 lb marker paper and coloured with Copics.

In retrospect I should have used hot press paper.

Used Copics and colored pencils - I made him much more tan than the original, because I'm not super experienced with choosing and using copics.

Playing around with Hellboy analogues just for fun. Circled a concept but couldn’t quite make it come together. Also, experimenting with blending and layering tones of grey Copics.
Might have another run at it some other time.

I’m in love with Copics. I built my collection over the years as they would come to Anime Expo and have discounts. Started using them a lot more this past year for my sub brand. Actually probably using more than Procreate. Lol.

This is color practice with copics.

Hi, I'm Ryan. I'm a traditional artist from Wisconsin, who creates fantasy landscapes with Ink and Copics.

Wanted to actually mess with Copics. Mushrooms seemed like a good option, so here's my mushroom lady, original based off my Elder Scrolls Online character Indyas. I'd love to remake her in Skyrim but I have no idea how... maybe I should try her in DnD?

This was such a fun challenge  I'm really pleased with how close I got to Arina Tanemura's art-style  It's inked with inkpen and coloured with copics. Polychromos for extra intensity and a little white paint was also used for details.
