Some days ago, I saw some of the early works/shorts from the people of Pixar when they were students (people like Andrew Stanton, Pete Docter and of course John Lasseter). Very charming, experimental and funny shorts for the most part..I recommend checking them out.

Em entrevista do , agora que assumiu o cargo de Chefe Criativo da Pixar, Pete Docter revelou que não tem planos de dirigir outras animações:

“O trabalho do Chefe Criativo não é fazer filmes, é guiar outras pessoas. Fiquei preocupado no começo, mas tem sido recompensador”.

Não que a gente tivesse dúvidas, mas ‘Soul’ só firma o nome do Pete Docter como o melhor diretor do cinema de animação dos Estados Unidos.

Todos os filmes dele ultrapassam os limites narrativos e visuais do que é considerado “filme de criança”.

Um cineasta fantástico.
