I normally don't just draw the cover art, but the amount of games about a red ninja is starting to make this difficult. Plus, there was something funny about a ninja punching something.

According to what I've found, this game on release day got the message that "Omae wa mou shindeiru". That's rough, buddy.

Somewhat of a hidden gem to me. It's probably more popular than that but I wish I knew about it long ago. It's basically a whole other Zelda 1.

The box-pushing puzzle game. It's on your calculator, it's in your game design class, it's the Tetris before Tetris.

Art-Fight is gonna slow these down a bit, but I'll sneak a good few in.

This is a game from a 30+ game series from Konami that only got a handle of western releases.

I've began to wonder if Nintendo should attempt a "Region Locked NES Collection" so Westerners can officially play Japanese games.

I think Volleyball video games are more fun than the more common ones Nintendo keeps putting Mario in.

Want a fun puzzle game about stairs? No? Well, here it is anyways.

I like the sprites in this one, and the premise is fun. It gets kinda stale near the halfway point though.

Long title on this one, but I can't help but love 8-bit classic Japan. It's a style and mood that I love, and the character sprites for all the NES games in this style are on point so far.

So there's a submarine, underwater cities, decent music, oh and a mermaid with like no coverage. Don't forget to put that on the title screen.

Another game by the creator of the Sims series of games. I don't know how well this plays on NES, but it certainly annoyed me on Atari 7800. Might've been the joystick controls, who knows.

As far as I know, there is no relation to Super Arabian.

I see this one sometimes in general discussions of the NES, so it definitely has a presence out there.

This one got sent to America and was also ported to the GBA in that Famicom Mini series in Japan. Does that mean it's good? Well, it was better than the shovelware, but that's about it.

A pretty simple light gun game, what could possibly be special about it? Well, it's the first NES game not released on the original Famicom. Why? I don't actually know. I guess Nintendo just thought Japan wouldn't like it.

The sequel to that lives in infamy. This game is unfair even if you use the Switch's rewind feature. Howard Phillips and Egoraptor put it best, this game is cruel.

I don't think a man from Texas has as many shooters as the Famicom.
