The refurbishment of Warham St Mary, N Norfolk (with box pews & triple decker pulpit, still there satisfyingly) included relighting the windows with a wonderful fragmentary mixture of local & continental stained glass, all mixed up like a scrap book.

Renewed survey at fossil sites sometimes turns up additional fragments of earlier discoveries. The LH 5 fragmentary maxilla and dentition of Australopithecus afarensis has parts that were discovered in 1974 and 1979, up to 49 meters apart.

New open access paper on a Tomistomine from Australia! New named taxon called Gunggamarandu maunala. Pretty fragmentary but still neat to see Aussie Tomistomines(as I was expecting considering their early Paleogene radiation).

The neotype, USNM 4734, has a fragmentary skull which underwent distortion. This lead to it being reconstructed with a very short snout that looks like an Allosaurid cosplaying as an Abelisaurid. This weirdness is what influenced the short snouted Allosaurus in WWD
