Living between rainbows
Away from the sun
Such are my days:
Colourless; hard-won

Each morning stretches
Even later in bed
The sorrow which grips me
Won't leave my head

Just now and again
My old life returns
A gasp of fresh air
Before next downturn

Psyche & spirit
like spider-lines
fine elements
reality's deformation
gladly no definition
destination exhausted
this my end my start
a painting like a psalm
art to build a nest in
I hadn't realised the time
until my tongue
started to dry
