The Pengoons are getting ready to fight ⚔️

These are *technically* Valley Goons, but this is how they appeared in the 1960 cartoon, "Goon With the Wind," created by Gene Deitch. All the 1960 cartoons were done by a few different studios and Deitch went VERY off model with the Goons.

Next, Moon Goons! Originating in the late 40s in a comic book written by Bud Sagendorf, Moon Goons come from the Moon (obviously) and were constantly threatened by the Moon Men until Popeye interceded and brought peace.

Next you have the Sea Goons. Brought in by Sims and Zaboly in 1941 for the story "Davy Jones and the Sea Goon," Sea Goons are shown to be able to fly as well as flip between Goon-Speak and English with ease.

First, you got the Goons of Goon Valley/Island. These are the Goons you usually see in the comic strips and cartoons - the ones first introduced by Segar in the 30s. Alice was their leader when Popeye met them.

Unlike the Fleischer Cartoons, they were very peaceful and friendly.
