Other than that, definetly trying to be harsher with shadows. I strayed from it because little me made dark shading look muddy..

I also stopped working on Sire this year. Moving away from weekly comics has been a very difficult step, but sometimes things just don't work out, and there's no sense in letting sunk cost drag you down deeper.

Instead: looser 1-2 panel things have been shaking things up nicely.

Yeah, that’s why I love Nomura’s take on the characters. His version of Tsugumi is way more detailed compared to Kobayashi’s version we see in Neo. Granted, I still love his looser style as it’s easier to draw and doesn’t take as long as Nomura’s dose
