Happy to announce that our next AI creature, currently referred to by the team as "Pompo", is going into the modeling stages! Thank you @Shyrahja for your hard work on his orthographics and for this AMAZING piece!

#portolioday Hey I'm Michael and I am a concept artist that has grown to love the developmental process of making concept art. From Mood boards to detailed renders and orthographics, I love it all. Check at all the good stuff here on my portfolio https://t.co/yqX6NZweDn
A&A has also made a giant 16713 x 16713 23 megabyte image of the map in top down orthographic projection available from here: https://t.co/tIeNpJiRyD
An early WIP of the remake of Nagatoro that I promised.
This time using the anime as a reference the plan is to make 3 costumes.
Nagatoro was the last model I made using orthographic projection instead of perspective, so this version is, at least, much better proportioned

such a deep evil has awoken within me. namely. oh my god orthographic camera mode.
"duh. no shit." <- my critics will say this, and they will be right
There were several criteria's that were required for submission:
- Propose a storyline (Required to be set in a magical world)
- Character design with (1) prop + 5 poses and expressions each
- Character Orthographic drawing
- 2 Page comic draft

@CosmicPunked Was waiting to get to my laptop before sending these over :) The orthographical is the more up to date designs.
So much of concept art is just drawing orthographically/in T-pose for clarity's sake...it actually feels really nice, to just play with perspective and poses in personal work
So close to finishing this piece😤
god swapping off orthographic view while zoomed super close always gives me whiplash lmao
Here's an alternate not-quite-orthographic view from #sculptjanuary2021 day 5 - Magic Gate.
The original has that 'movie poster' feeling I was aiming for but this overhead view really shows off all the effort I put into the environment.

Question for all the 3D artists out there. What do you call the drawings that you use as direct reference for modeling? Orthographic drawings? Character turnarounds? Model sheets? Perspective drawings? Orthos? Is there consensus on how they should be referred to?
Initial orthographic sketches for the outfit designs that were used for team 死のBRINGER in #MoRCB!
@IRRaenir: Hello! I'm the friend. To be specific, I am asking for what I call a '3D reference sheet', this is for aiding me in modeling a 3D anime character. The posing should be static/symmetical orthographic views in anime/manga style. Here's an example by Daniel Kreuter:
