He was like genuinely such a well written character and I hate how much people dislike him, like just look at some of these panels.

A lot of stuff in the Ang Lee feels like a comic too. (Ironically not the parts made to literally look like comic panels.) stuff like the Mirror scene, or the fight in the clouds honestly does emulate the sort of visual storytelling you would see in an actual comic book.
