February 11, 1905, birthday of Czech painter, book illustrator and palaeoartist Zdeněk Michael František Burian. His work played a central role in the development of palaeontological reconstructions 🦖🎨

Fun fact all these demon OCs of mine are siblings. (There is one more but he's under major reconstruction).

The way demons are born in my world lore isn't through another individual so "siblings" never look the same. The demonic realm it's self creates the demons (in replies)

Nighty night! A word of caution though, I wouldn't use ARK's depiction, it's sooo far from what it probably looked like (reconstruction by ):

after watching forgotten Pikmin's FORGOTTEN Concept Art Pikmin. i noticed little nubs that made me think that the carapace pikmin would look more like this if they ended up in Pikmin 3.

with a little reconstruction of the concept art.

Lavocatisaurus is pretty similar to Nigersaurus, (which is more complete) but Lavocatisaurus is a bit less extreme. It looks a little off in the published skull reconstruction but the maxillary teeth would be angled futher ventrally, like in Nigersaurus and other sauropods.

My first paper is out!
I had the pleasure of collaborating in (and illustrating) the report of a gannet (Sulidae) from the middle Miocene of Sesimbra, Portugal. Here is the coloured version of my reconstruction of the live animal.
You can read the paper below 👇

This poor shark swam too close to this basilosaurus family, ending up as a fun chew toy.
The design is based on this reconstruction! https://t.co/iT7KK4aCO3

Good thing you mentioned the Boeotian since I've never really encountered a reconstruction of it as a hat and only a helmet even though most Greek helmets like it along with the Phrygian and Pilos started as hats.

So fsr the only thing I've seen are artistic reconstructions https://t.co/cz3Hd5jpIl

Hello! I’m not looking for any style in particular, I’m just wondering if existing artist interpretations have included pregnant women in their reconstructions.
