Check out this amazing Tug the skyger cap made by a friend for Hiro. She based it off the cover art by @evan_monteiro for The Secret of Zoone. It’s absolutely amazing—best cap in the multiverse!
Thus far 170 new manuscripts pushed online with #PolonskyGerman
So many texts and images to discover:

8th-16th century, w/ a connection to German speaking lands (origin/provenance/language).
Challenge: can you find and ID these?
We just added four new medieval manuscripts to our #PolonskyGerman project site, featuring:
• Dogs and hares
• Saints’ lives
• An otherworldly flying creature we think might be a dragon but honestly we're not sure
• Bede

We're dangerously close to losing a whole morning just gazing happily at this anglo-saxon minuscule script, dashed with splashes of red, yellow and green, from a Carolingian legal text we recently digitized in our #PolonskyGerman collaboration: https://t.co/c4lKCDxGJb
Today’s day 1 of #MGBooktober! Is there any better way to travel than by the winegrower of some majestic magical creature? (It's what I was thinking when I came up with the skyger for The Secret of Zoone.)
What is there not to love! St Augustine, Charlemagne, nuns of Chelles and so much more.

A reader posted this amazing piece of artwork—her version of Tug the skyger from The Secret of Zoone, and I so love it! Those ears!
@2dCale Thank you, Cale! The Guardians of Zoone is coming out in January (sequel to The Secret of Zoone) which just came out this year. It's a middlegrade novel featuring portal pirates, a hungry skyger, and some steampunk-style robots.
It's newly digitized manuscript day on the #PolonskyGerman website! Five new medieval manuscripts online, featuring historiated initials, Anglo-Saxon minuscule, and two volumes of Pauline epistles spanning 400 years. https://t.co/w7S6QNaRFU
Inspired by the new toys Goo Goo Galaxy. Of course, there's a boy version in my inventory. Yeah, I know different art style. Introducing:

One of the Bodleian's #PolonskyGerman manuscripts, MS. Laud Misc. 96, contains half a dozen different bastarda hands. These images show the range of forms this script can take--and the challenge for palaeographers. https://t.co/UDZieNn0Rk #PolonskyGerman
And between all these, there's a fair bit of theology, sermons, saints' lives, and philosophy. It's a medieval manuscript, after all: https://t.co/zt8Xi4T9ib #PolonskyGerman
The first text is a German-language translation of the Rule of St. Benedict - the manuscript was at one stage in the library of the Cistercian abbey of Eberbach: https://t.co/IkWSLdv4CX #PolonskyGerman
12th century copy of Ezekiel and the Twelve Minor Prophets with decorative initials - another #PolonskyGerman manuscript from the Domstift St Kilian, Würzburg. The text has been punctuated to help with reading aloud: https://t.co/VCkIewdgaZ
The leaf is from MS. Laud Misc. 90, another manuscript digitized under our #PolonskyGerman collaboration. The main text is Hugh of Saint-Victor's De sacramentis christianae fide, book 2. The ex libris is that of the Cisterican abbey of Eberbach, Germany. https://t.co/DrqJKXQ8dg
Decoration from a 13th century Homiliary, produced in Germany and once part of the collection of cathedral in Würzburg. Digitized this year as part of our #PolonskyGerman collaboration https://t.co/42thRKNyr5
(There's a case for the decorative gold initials, too.) #PolonskyGerman https://t.co/k9LMsdQeyn
It's just so *tidy*. #PolonskyGerman https://t.co/k9LMsdQeyn
