I sorted my astro data this weekend (it's a pure mess!) and stumbled upon some horsehead data. I gave it a reprocess with some new tricks. Here it is! Many hours of dual narrowband data, shot with the Redcat telescope.

Hi, I'm an astrophotographer from Israel 😊
I drive to the desert here and take images of space using my 11" telescope.
I'd be honored if you take a look at some of my images
There are a lot more in my foundation or known origin profiles.
This is my fav and it’s also on Wikipedia

From my circles portfolio, a digital artwork of a woman with a vintage telescope. I particularly like the sense of warmth and peace I managed to achieve with this one.

Sometimes if there isn't a stamp for something in Inkarnate i'll get hyperfixated on figuring out a way to make it out of existing stamps. this time it was a telescope.

- Spitzer's final voyage -
Spitzer is my first mega man oc and the one with the saddest story. He's based on the now retired Spitzer Space Telescope.

Its almost 2022 so here's some 2021 drawings + sketches that I have since abandoned :D
(Most of these are me experimenting with my artstyle and colouring style.)
(Also ignore the telescope. I heavily referenced a Google image and I forgot how huge it's meant to be.)

Made a new ref sheet for JW!
If you're a new follower, this is my oc, James Webb. He's based on the James Webb Space Telescope.

The Sunflower galaxy
This is what I consider a "bad" image.
It was one of my first high focal-length attempts, about 3 years ago.
Captured with an 11 inch telescope.
I will definitely re-image this amazing and beautiful galaxy!

The HST is what inspired me to do space photography.
That's the whirlpool Galaxy I captured last year with an 11 inch telescope.
Sorry for the quality I'm sharing from my Instagram

Sketches done at the eyepiece of my Celestron C90, a small Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope.

I was quite surprised how well the little mak held up for deep sky work. I would have dismissed it for such use due to its narrow field of view/slow focal ratio, but it was pretty nice.

My latest Picture of the North America Nebula!

This image includes over 5 hours of total exposure time using a Canon EOS Ra camera and a small telescope.

The multi-bandpass filter used was essential to collect this from my light-polluted backyard (https://t.co/3yPpiRCrpA)
