Hatching is an avenue for shading with, but also great establishing texture. It’s also not exclusive to being used with ink or anything, you can use it with other media. Our eyes translate the lines into values. Cross hatching is the crossing of lines. Contour is curving lines

Nope, not a similar issue. Here's a comparison of what she'd look like if Panda triangulated her face the other way...

Interestingly you can see that the UVs are going to be extremely distorted regardless of which direction you go, might be a contributor to her weird texture.

1. If you think your picture is a bit flat, overlay texture on top & lower the opacity to your liking. (Personally I use textures like watercolor, or old paper.)

So while setting up a bottle from Halo Infinite to use as a molotov. I noticed something funny on the texture.

It's dated to 1984

which means in Halo, this bottle's alcohol has been aged 576 YEARS!! xD

man, to drink perfectly preserved 576 year old alcohol. Or just smash it!
