If you keep looking at bones eventually you’ll find something! Check out these amazing pelvic girdles. The thin, wingless central portion of the girdle appears to be a derived character for the flasher wrasses (but not in other pseudocheilines).

Thunder was found by Wrasse as an egg. Honeysuckle was found near the SeaWing territory when he was only a few days old. Thunder admires Ocrinus and helped him found L’Wingburg. Honeysuckle and Thunder are close friends. Honeysuckle likes bees :)

Pykrete is close friends with Wrasse, and is quite protective of him since Wrasse can’t fly anymore. He is shunned by the IceWing tribe because he doesn’t believe in government. He is a skilled fighter. He often seems emotionally distant from others.

A fun Stygian design commission I finished last night for ChobiChocobo! I was given mostly free reign over what to do, so I ended up basing her colors off of the McCosker's Flasher Wrasse that I came across when googling pretty fish. 🥰💕

Day 22 of is the Sandager's wrasse! A classic kiwi fish. Like most wrasses they start as females and the dominant female will turn into the male when the male dies.

Nothing in particular - I’m doing C&S dissections on wrasses (looking at osteology). The seahorse was a piggy back specimen from another department. I don’t work on those, just helping them out with it. Not entirely sure what they’re looking for with those.
