Beauty... no contest. Saltwater fishes cover everything from EVERY COLOR in one to emo BLACK. Every pattern from single two-tones to the most complicated reticulations. Freshwater just can't cover the bases. Just chalk up the victory for the round already.

I'm loving Personally, my bias lies in saltwater species. The sheer variety is mind-boggling. I always find myself including them in my artworks. But all fish represent the mystery and beauty of nature. And they deserve our wonder and care. ❤️
